Generators with Remote Radiator

According to ISO 8528 standards, generator sets must be capable of delivering their rated continuous power output at an ambient temperature of 25°C.
Although most generator radiator systems are rated for 40°C, the actual temperature inside the generator enclosure often exceeds this due to alternator copper losses, engine radiation, and exhaust heat.
As a result, the air entering the radiator can reach up to 30% higher than the ambient temperature, leading to a reduction in generator performance and output power.
To prevent this power derating, the radiator system can be installed remotely, away from the generator set and directly exposed to fresh ambient air.
In this configuration, even at 40°C ambient conditions, the generator operates at full power without any performance loss.
